Why states matter
Klovis groups the people enrolled in a campaign by state, so you can see at a glance who's waiting to be contacted, who's in the middle of the sequence, and who's replied. The campaign detail page keeps these groups separate rather than lumping them together, because they mean different things.
The states
- Pending – enrolled but has not completed any campaign step yet.
- Active – in-flight and has completed at least one step.
- Replied – has campaign reply history. This is a historical record that the person replied during this campaign; it isn't the same thing as currently being paused.
- Paused – manually paused, or paused by the campaign's settings. By default, Pause on reply is switched on, so a person who replies is usually paused, but they can be resumed later.
- Finished – completed the whole campaign without replying.
- Removed – exited the campaign with an explicit reason, either manual or generated automatically by Klovis.
- No response – the invitation or send attempt timed out, or was withdrawn automatically without any engagement.
A few things worth knowing
- Replied counts on a campaign come from the person's reply history, not from whichever state they happen to be in right now, so a person who has since been removed or resumed can still count as a reply for that campaign.
- Reply history survives a resume or restart of the campaign, so later reporting can still be tied back to this campaign for as long as the person hasn't been enrolled in another one.
