Suppression list

Last updated on 25 Sep 2026

What it does

The suppression list blocks specific values from ever being contacted through Klovis. Once a value is on the list, campaigns and workflows will never send that person a message, on any channel, until you remove it.

Adding a value

  1. Go to Settings > Suppression.
  2. Click Add value.
  3. Choose a type:
    • Email – blocks a single email address.
    • Domain – blocks every email address at that domain.
    • LinkedIn Identifier – blocks a specific LinkedIn identity.
    • Phone – blocks a specific phone number.
  4. Enter the value, and optionally a reason to remind yourself later.
  5. Click Add.

Removing a value

Find the entry in the suppression list and click Remove. The value can be contacted again from that point on.

Suppressed people are never contacted by campaigns and workflows

Every send Klovis makes on behalf of a campaign or a workflow, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, or email, checks the suppression list first. If the recipient's email, LinkedIn identity, or phone number is on the list, the send is skipped and the person is removed from the campaign they were enrolled in.

This check does not apply to a reply you send yourself from the inbox: suppression only blocks outbound campaign and workflow sends, not your own manual replies to an inbound message.
